We were asked to assist the local and international teams to launch Renewable Energy Council Asia-Pacific (RECAP) and provide a comprehensive suite of services to bring this new initiative to life. Our partnership, advice and delivery spanned naming and branding to designing visual assets and multimedia content, ensuring the program launch at COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan, was impactful and resonated with diverse stakeholders across the region.
The Smart Energy Council (SEC) is the independent body for the Australian smart energy industry. Their aim is to accelerate the transition to a sustainable future.
We designed a unifying brand to reflect the dynamism and inclusivity of this region coming together. The geometric, circular design visually articulated RECAP’s core themes: coming together, transition, global collaboration, and renewable energy.
Drawing on geometric forms to echo the SEC brand, this circular logo was imbued with meaning: it represents the sun’s rays, waves of the ocean, and the motion of the wind. The vibrant, colour palette symbolizes the ocean that connects us.
